Two real clients, two very different holidays. A closer look at the brief, the planning and the result.
A REAL CLIENT JOURNEY
A road trip through France and Italy
- The brief
- On their last road trip through France, booking as they went had felt disorganised, and they’d missed things they wanted to do. This time, these two busy clients wanted more sorted before they set off.
- The planning
- I turned their wish list into a route that suited their time, budget and how they liked to travel. Their itinerary app brought together independent hotels, food experiences and suggestions for each day. When work meant one traveller could only join for half the trip, I adjusted the plans around the time they each had available.
- The result
- They enjoyed charming hotels, truffle hunting and towns they would otherwise have missed. The daily suggestions helped them have a restful, easy holiday, with one client describing the trip as more than they had imagined.
A REAL CLIENT JOURNEY
Malta, with the planning taken care of
- The brief
- This client usually did all the holiday research and organising herself. For her Malta break, she wanted help finding things to do, with enough flexibility to decide how to spend each day.
- The planning
- I put together suggestions for Valletta, Mdina, Birgu, Gozo and Marsaxlokk, with room to choose what she fancied on the day. She had everything in an app and a printable itinerary, without having to do the research herself.
- The result
- Before she left, she told me she hadn’t had to do her usual planning and research. Receiving the itinerary had “made my heart happy”, and she said the attention to detail had made everything feel easy.
This has been the easiest holiday I’ve ever gone on, normally it’s me having to do all the planning and research but I’ve not had to do a thing.
