Wrocław with James
A look back at the experience, the people and the things that stayed with us.
We spent three nights in Wrocław, staying at the Art Hotel. We explored with a local guide, tried Polish food and saw the city from the River Oder.
I took care of the plans so people could settle in and enjoy themselves. For me, the best part was seeing people get to know each other over the weekend.

I arranged the travel and hotel, hosted the trip and put the daily plans in a digital itinerary. There were optional visits to a history museum and a Polish vodka tasting, as well as free time to explore on your own.

Whilst I wasn’t sure what to expect at first, James made the whole weekend feel like a group of friends on holiday. It wasn’t pushy, over engineered or forced, and the flexibility of independent or group activities was a really nice touch. I left having explored a new city, made new connections and friendships and most of all, created fun new memories. I’d absolutely book another trip again.

This was my first ever hosted trip, I was very apprehensive at first by meeting new people but James was fantastic throughout the process from organising / booking the trip and organising the travel and experiences.As someone who hasn’t travelled much outside the UK in the past few years it was a huge weight off my shoulders knowing someone else has planned the trip, as I am usually someone who plans our family trips.The experiences that were on offer where a wide range and gave me a chance to experience authentic Wrocław.James chose a great bunch of people and I feel we complimented each other and was lovely listening and learning about themselves and their experiences which allowed me to feel more relaxed throughout the entire trip.There was also opportunity to have your own space and time if you needed to.James was especially accommodating by organising and arranging for my brother to join me on the trip.
It was a pleasure to be included in of the first hosted trips. I was apprehensive at first as I didn't know many people, but the blend of personalities really added to the experience. The attention to detail James took behind the scenes and during the trip really added to the experience. Definitely will be booking again on the next trip and advise people to do the same.
An absolutely brilliant long weekend in Wroclaw. James organised everything - flights, accommodation, activities and food - with a great mix of local delicacies, traditions and things to do. Everything ran smoothly, and the itinerary was well paced, making the most of our time without feeling rushed.I’d never met seven of the other eight people, so there were a few nerves beforehand, but everyone got on really well from the start. James had clearly put plenty of thought into the trip, making sure there was something for everyone. A thoroughly enjoyable weekend - I’d definitely book another.
